Movendi International statement of concern regarding the role and actions of the alcohol industry during the COVID-19 crisis Stockholm, Sweden,  March 26, 2020 – Major alcohol producers have announced their commitment to helping fight the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. Alcohol producers are  shifting production  to make hand sanitizers. While this is welcome, there are several reasons for caution and concern. In this statement of concern, Movendi International addresses three aspects that show worrying developments. We also make three calls for urgent action to mitigate alcohol harm during the COVID-19 Pandemic. EMOTIONAL CPR (ECPR) TRAINING @NADA INDIA BY #CIRCLEOFHOPE

Nada India Foundation organised a training on emotional CPR that was conducted by  Lauren Spiro at the Shantiratan Foundation, Chhatarpur  on 14th & 16th March'20. The training was attended by 12 participants from various walks of life (Circle of Hope) while Ayaz is the Program Coordinator at Ashra Adhikar Abhiyan , Kushangi has a master's in Clinical Psychology and Pooja is a student of Geriatric Care and Nada Health Advocate. "World Obesity Day" at Daulat Ram College Delhi University

Nada India Foundation celebrated "World Obesity Day " at Daulat Ram College at their Annual social festival "Aagaaz 2020". Nada India Health Advocates Riya Thapliyal and Devid spent the afternoon speaking to students, spreading the word and promoting good health on campus.  Devid said, "agar aapko obesity ki problem hai toh aap cancer, blood pressure, jaisi ghatak bimariyon se bhi ulajh rahe ho". Riya helped students establish the link between obesity and climate change which was the theme of the festival.  Students were surprised to discover this link and also the global event was news for them, they didn't know such a day was celebrated today.    Jaanvi, second year student of Philosophy (H) said, "the main reason behind obesity is our sedentary lifestyle so we need to take care of what we eat and we need to exercise daily".  While Urvashi pledged to switch to healthier food items and quit eating junk food,  Farha wished for ...
